Library Director

Brenda Naberhaus became the Director in January of 2018.  She worked as a part-time assistant from December 2016 until then.  She was born and raised in Schaller, so knows the community well and has been involved in various groups and organizations over the years.  Brenda worked at the Sioux City Public Library for a few years after college, and has since done: abstracting, painting and wallpapering, home daycare, accounting at a law firm and chiropractic assistant at 2 different offices.  She has 2 grown children: Kyson and Samantha. Kyson is married to JoAnne, and they live in the Kansas City area. Kyson is a Print Production Specialist at Martin City Marketing. Jo is managing a salon supply store.   Sami is married to Brice Wenell and they live outside of Albert City.  She is a veterinarian and works at Lake View Veterinary Services.   Brice farms with his dad and has cattle and sheep. They have 2 little boys, Walter & Russell.  Brenda's husband, Scott, takes care of cattle for a local farmer.
